Classrooms of the Future
Our three Classrooms of the Future are state of the art, highly
mediated classrooms that can accommodate up to 35 participants.
They can be enable to P-20 educators to engage in multi-point
distance learning programs and experiment with emerging
technologies. Instructors can arrange for video or audio
conferencing, will have access to video or DVD projection and will
have the ability to display multiple input sources simultaneously
using overhead projectors and SmartBoards. Click on the room

The furniture formation in room Room
1120 is conducive to student collaboration and cooperative
group learning.

Room
1143 has a more traditional furniture set up with rows arranged
for teacher centered presentations and lectures.

Room
1145 is set up in a semi-circle for enhanced student
communication and reinforcement of the Socratic method.

Laboratories
Additionally, we have two Laboratory Classrooms which can be used
for media design or to allow participants access to online or other
computer resources.

1121 is the Instructional Technology Design Lab outfitted with
Apple and Windows desktops and large monitors, ideal for creating
digital presentations or movies.

1142 is home to the Educational Technology Exploratorium with a
lecture area and a lab area with several Windows desktops
available.
